The Artist

Tricia Skoglund was born in San Diego California and lived in Salem Oregon for 30 plus years, before returning to San Diego in 2005. Tricia works predominantly in mixed media and incorporates many different elements and textiles into her work. Every piece of her work is a very distinct homage to her time spent in San Diego by the ocean and in Oregon close to farms and nature. Tricia has studied under several prominent artists in several different mediums throughout her 50 years as an artist. She has had solo shows in several states and is currently showing in galleries along the west coast.

Tricia now lives and works in San Diego California with her husband of almost 41 years and enjoys any minute she gets to spend with her two granddaughters and grandson

Tricia Skoglund has been creating color-rich metal artworks since 2005. Tricia's work incorporates a wide variety of medium, textures and shapes, which can be attributed to her unique torch-cutting style.

Many of her works include a rust patina, which is well suited for hanging outdoors.
